Let's Do Lunch

Aveline and I travelled to Columbus yesterday to meet my parents for lunch at our favorite Italian restaurant. My parents brought along my neice for the trip. We had an outstanding meal and visited for a few hours. My parents exchanged some time with Aveline for a few bushels of vegetables. Dan and I will be very regular for the next few days! We love the fresh veggies from the farm. They brought 29 tomatoes, 5 onions, a few dozen ears of corn, 4 lbs of potatoes, 3 canteloupes, 4 cucumbers, 14 zucchini, a large bag of assorted peppers, 2 flowering mums, a small head of cabbage and a pumpkin. Yes. A very large, orange pumpkin. I was halfway home and they called to tell me they had forgotten to give me the 2 lbs of green beans, jars of apple butter and salsa that were in the back seat. Wow. All for a little time with Aveline. I may have something here. I will never have to buy groceries again! I wonder how much baby time it would take to get a side of beef.

I know....Dan and I have been trying our best to eat all of them.

Trevor---Unfortunately the pumpkin is not of the pie making variety. It will only be used as decoration.
