No, that is not our cherry tree. This is not in front of my house, although, I would not put it past Dan. This has to be one of the more original, albeit disturbing yard decoration I have seen to date. The design also scores points for accuracy, as the deer is hung and gutted in the proper positions. (I grew up next to a deer processing operation, so I have seen a slew of slain deer.) I also enjoy subtle blood drip details as the string of scarlet lights pools below the carcass. Very nice!

Eww!
Umm ... Merry ... Christmas?
That is a very funny display. Great pic, thanks for sharing it. Great blog too.
Excuse me! But I just can't see this as entertainment.
Interesting Christmas display???? Are they neighbors??? I think I might be a bit fightened.
love it!! laughed and snorted when I saw it. I was hoping it was in your yard.
Too funny.
Thats great, but I couldn't help hearing dueling banjos in my head....
That is disgusting in an awesomely creative, sick-minded genius sort of way.
Graphically the most humorous display I've seen. To those who don't think so, just don't look. Although, I'f I lived next door, I might have a few issues with the depiction.
Who say's there aren't any Grinches out there.
LMAO thats great! ima have to show that to my husband.
Mmmmmm, Roudolph. Urrrrpppp.
An interesting combination of celebrations -- Haloween and Christmas. Or -- could we say that this is a metaphor of the crucifiction? Life and Death.
...still pretty macabre
I got that picture in an email and it cracked me up. I was thinking about doing one for my husband since he's a deer hunter. lol
I knew hunting season was around the corner!
I saw this on CNN. LMAO. Maybe he could take it down and string up a real one than serve it up for Christmas.
The neighborhood weenies need to get a life. Heck, the subdivision is named 'Hunter's Glen' (or something like that. I bet everyone there has heard the song 'Granma Got Runned Over By A Reindeer' and laughed.
ur sad with way too much time on ur hands!
