We're Still Here!

As the last post may have told you, our lives are changing fast. It seems the last two weeks have chewed us up and spit us out.

Aveline and I have been battling a horrible cold. I think Dan missed the worst of this illness. Mostly I am chasing Aveline, trying to mop up the river of snot that is running down her nose. Along with the cold, morning sickness is my new nemesis. I had very mild if any morning sickness with Aveline. This booger is a different story. I think I have eaten my weight in saltines at this point.

Another first trimester woe I had completely forgotten about is the nagging, neverending fatigue. WOW! I forgot how tired I would get. Some nights I have fallen asleep on the couch waiting for Dan to get up at 9:00pm so I can go to bed.

Dan has been wonderful at picking up my slack. He's even had a string of bad luck. Both of his co-managers, of which he's in charge, left the company. This left Dan with lots more work and lots less free time. Hopefully they both get replaced soon!

We will post more pictures soon. I need to recharge my camera's batteries before I can upload any of our images.

More to come!

I was wondering what happened to you!

We had the cold here also. I got over it last week, and Cordy is just starting to get over it. River of snot is right.

Have you tried the accupressure wrist bands for nausea? That plus some extra b-vitamins is what did the trick for me with Cordy, and I had horrible 24-hour a day morning sickness. It doesn't take the nausea away completely, but it makes it much easier to deal with.

Hope you get past the fatigue soon, and I hope Dan gets some more free time soon!
