Badger Stew

I have been afraid to post anything Buckeye related, as not to upset the fragile balance of the universe that has my beloved team ranked as king of the BCS hill. Watching all of the other number ones and twos tumble from that high perch has created a paranoia in Ohio. I know while the Badgers started the season strong in the rankings, they have since found themselves wallowing in the mud, providing a stepping stone for other teams to climb.

I have to say that I will tempt fate and predict that Chef Tressel will have his pot ready to make some badger stew. Wisconsin's top receiver is out for the season and their main course, P.J. Hill, the lumbering running back, is questionable for the game due to injury. Hill's back up has been banned from traveling thanks to a summer altercation. I doubt the Badgers can come into the Shoe and upset a # 1 team that is still trying to rid its mouth of the taste from that bitter loss in the desert. Our defense will swallow what paltry offense they have left, while the Wells slice and dice their front four for long runs. Boeckman and his Brians will garnish the finished product with some deep TD's. Sounds appetizing.

Prediction:

Buckeyes: 41
Badgers: 13
