...the best way to get the worst care ever is to visit a pediatrician's office at 4:30 pm on the Friday before a three day weekend. Desperate parents litter the waiting room, hoping their presence will prevent a visit to urgent care during the weekend. Overworked nurses shuffle their feet, dreaming of the super strawberry daiquiri they will consume at the twenty-one and over bar in about an hour. Doctors impatiently enduring an explanation of symptoms from a mother who feels increasingly stupid, fearful she is wasting her time and money, since she knows that all the flippant doctor is going to say that it is a just a virus.
I bet you can't guess how I spent my afternoon.

What I Learned Today....
- I learned, while shoe shopping, that my feet are not the same size. In fact, my left foot is a 7 1/2 while my right foot is almost a 7.
- Pork and saurkraut is even better the second day.
